Training & Capacity Building

Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) (2023)

Project Title: KeNHA (Lower Eastern Region) In-House Training on Traffic Engineering

Lead Consultant: GLINCE Ltd

Challenge: KeNHA required technical upskilling of its in-house engineers to strengthen capacity in traffic engineering, traffic analysis, and traffic forecasting for national highway projects in Kenya.
Solution: GLINCE designed and delivered a comprehensive in-house traffic engineering training programme in Kenya, covering traffic survey methodologies, traffic data collection and analysis, highway capacity modelling, and traffic forecasting using HCM techniques. The training enhanced KeNHA engineers’ ability to apply traffic engineering principles in the planning, design, and optimisation of national highways.
