Transport Planning & Policy

City of Kigali (2024)

Project Title: Feasibility Study of Nyabugogo Multimodal Transit Hub

Consortium: EGIS International / United Contractors JV

Challenge: The Nyabugogo area, a major node in Kigali’s transport network, required a strategic transport planning and mobility framework to support future public transport integration and multimodal operations.

Solution: GLINCE led scenario-based traffic modelling and transport demand analysis using Aimsun software to simulate network performance under different transport interventions. The recommendations support Kigali’s transition towards efficient, integrated, and sustainable multimodal transport systems.
